Green Data Systems Introduces Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (C-IaaS)
The Basis of GDS Cloud Infrastructure as a Service is a Web Based Cloud Management Platform
(29.04.11) - Green Data Systems (GDS) introduces Cloud Infrastructure As A Service (C-IaaS). This is a new cloud platform that exists out of hardware, software and services for deployment of private, public and hybrid cloud systems on behalf of the IT Channel. Cloud computing and Data Center solutions is an important growth market for Green Data Systems. GDS Partners and vendors are able to develop and deploy cloud services based on the new Green Data Systems platform ‘Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (C-IaaS).
The basis of GDS Cloud Infrastructure As A Service (C-IaaS) is a web based cloud management platform. This platform system integrates seamless with management API’s of VMware vSphere/vCloud, Citrix XenServer, Microsoft Hyper-V/SCVMM and open source-hypervisors.
The new platform allows GDS Partners and vendors to automate configuration, ordering, billing, payment, chargeback, provisioning, deployment, management, maintenance, support and reporting over all managed services provided from a Private, Public or Hybrid Cloud Computing infrastructure platform.
C-Iaas is priced based on usage per month. GDS Partners and vendors are able to develop and deploy their applications on the Cloud infrastructure of Green Data Systems.
Examples of partner application services that can be developed and deployed by the Channel are archiving, file and content, Voice over IP (VoIP), Storage, virtual compute platform, replication, backup en others.
